Hello everyone! As stated in my quick facts, in online spaces, I like to be called Jen! I am currently an undergrad student studying Computer Science and Mathematics to become a tech artist. However, I am still exploring the big world of tech!

Lately, I have been getting bored and frustrated with social media. With there being so many bots everywhere, it no longer felt like I was connected to a community. Then, while exploring youtube, I was introduced to the world of indie websites! From there, I fell into the rabbit hole that is this magical corner of the internet. Each website said so much more than a social media profile could. They were so unique to each individual and I found myself wanting that type of freedom as well. This was also a good opportunity to expand my knowledge on web dev!

As for the focus on this page, if you can't tell by the quotes on each page, fandom culture is my very existence. I will mostly talk about my favorite media or media I am currently consuming. Usually, I would tweet about anything I am watching/reading, but here I will post more fleshed out thoughts! There might be times when I post about my personal life, but I am generally a private person, so there won't be much of that.

I will also post projects I am working on! I thought it would be a cool way to keep track of my progress on things. Right now, I am exploring the world of open source! As censorship rises, I want to do my part in the fight. I want to protect people's right to free speech online and make the internet open to everyone.
